My name is Angie.  I teach 6th grade math at Northfield Middle School in Northfield, MN.  I moved to the middle school 2 years ago, after having taught at the elementary level for 20 years.  I have two sections of math that I teach, A and AA.  Both sections cover the 6th grade MN math standards.  AA math moves at a faster pace, and we delve a bit deeper into comprehension.  We also start some pre-algebra topics toward the last quarter of the year.  I meet with my classes every day for about 50 minutes.  Our school has 1-1 ipads, so students have their device with them.  We use "holt" mathematics course one, which is fairly old and doesn't have many useful digital applications.
