Hi there! This is my ninth year teaching, although most of my time teaching has been spent teaching science. This year, I am teaching at an alternative high school where I am in charge of three subject: 1) Math Skills - a number sense course utilizing common math practices 2) Geometry 3) Algebra II. We utilize Iowa Math Standards (common core). Students attend class for 45 minutes and are given no homework, thus practice is completed in class. We are starting the year virtually and will transition to a hybrid model of A/B students.
