I have been teaching in Horseheads CSD, a rural public school district near the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, since 1984.  Currently, my title is Math Intervention Teacher for Grades 5-8 but I have also been a math classroom teacher, taught Math Enrichment classes, and had the role of Instructional Support Teacher.  Even after all these years, I still love my job and math intervention is a particular passion.  My profile picture is of a common loon and her chick ~ there are several layers of meaning attached to it.  Would anyone like to guess what one layer might be?
