I've been teaching for 15 years.  I've taught 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and now 6th grade math.  I love finding new ways to engage student learning by bringing my creativity into the classroom, and showing them how believe in themselves.  This is my first year teaching 6th grade math so learning content and new ways to meet my students is key.  I have a block schedule, 80 minute periods every day.  I only have them half the school year, so finding ways to keep their math skills up to par is important when they don't have math.
