Hi, my name is Kay Hedrick. I am a high school special education teacher in Illinois. I began working in education as a paraprofessional 15 years ago and worked my way through school to obtain my teaching credentials.  I will be starting my 6th year of teaching this upcoming 2020/21 school year. I currently teach high school special education students who are at about a 5th grade math level and am excited to have curriculum to follow! Our high school runs a daily eight, 46 minute class periods, so I see my students one class period a day.
