I am currently a first year 5th grade all subjects teacher.  I have one hour for Math, Reading, ELA, and Science/SS.  We are to incorporate centers as a tiered system for Reading and Math, however, at the moment I cannot wrap my head around this.

I have taught 8th grade ELA for the past 16 years- 3 90- minute periods.

My state uses WV Career & College Readiness Standards.

I will say that elementary is very different from middle school.
