I am beginning my 36th year in education teaching High School math and science in rural South Dakota.   The courses I teach include Algebra 1, Honors Geometry and Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry. We have our own State Mathematics standards derived from the Common Core.  Our small school (90 students in grades 9-12) has 52 minute classes which meet each day.
