I am currently teaching Math Essentials and Transitional Math.  Math Essentials is a hodge podge of Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Geometry.  Transitional Math is a remedial math course; Students that do not show proficiency in 8th grade math take the course before taking Algebra I.  We go as low as 3rd grade math.  Both courses are block courses that are finished in December.  I am a virtual teacher in Louisiana.  I have been a teacher for 17 years and a virtual teacher for the last 9 years.
