A detail oriented math teacher with leadership and organizational skills incorporates students centered and engagement lesson plans that focus on strengths and weaknesses of each student. This is an alternative program that services all students in both middle schools and high schools for the area school district. The standard bell schedule typically consists of 6 to 7 class periods distributed evenly across the day, ranging from 45 to 55 minutes. The grade levels range from 6th to 12th. The subjects are middle school mathematics, pre-algebra, algebra A/B, algebra 1, algebra II, geometry, Advance algebra with Trigonometry, and Pre-calculus. These curricula follow the Pennsylvania Content Standards. Within a school year, 5 to 6 math courses will be taught.
