This upcoming year will be my 10th year in teaching.  This is a second "career" for me and one that I wish I would have picked first.  I started out in student teaching with 3rd graders and quickly found out that this grade level was not for me.  I then moved to 6th grade math in a different district than the one my wife worked in.  At the end of that school year I moved over to work in the same district as my wife.  I have taught 5th, 6th and 7th, and I am currently teaching 7th grade advanced math, regular math 7th and Algebra to the 8th graders.  In the summertime I teach high school math to incoming freshman that need additional help.
